Process

During the long process of sculpturing, there is the moment that a lump of material turns into something "living" suddenly. I might continue working with sculpture to experience it again and again. 

長い彫刻のプロセスの中、ただのマテリアルの固まりが”魂を持った何か”に変わる瞬間がある。それをまた見たいがために作り続けているのかもしれない。

The moment of completion always comes suddenly. It is like the ends of small stories in daily life. 

完成の瞬間はいつも突然にやってくる。小さな物語の終わりと似ている。

It's all right. Life is also like that. 

同じ絵は二度と描けない。
